Email server error

We recently had a serious email and file crash losing countless emails from authors.

I know there was one author in particular that was expecting his book to be published last week. There were also some others with books due very soon. Could you please resubmit these books ASAP and they will be posted the same day.

Todaybooks.com apologizes for this technical error.

TodayBooks.com Now Accepting Fiction !!!

Welcome to Rheba Estante and Toni Moffitt TodayBooks latest authors.

We have turned a real corner with the acceptance of Fiction Books. Our main reason for not going this route in the beginning is that our traffic is mostly derived from the search engines. People don’t tend to search for fictional books randomly. They look for specific titles or recommended titles. We feel that we are achieving enough traffic now to warrant some fictional titles because once on the site, visitors spend 30 to 40 seconds browsing and a fictional title can have a huge conversion rate if the subject is intriguing enough.

If you are looking to discover your inner author now is the opportunity – Oh! I nearly forgot – The fictional books are also under 50 pages, making this the idea way to test a book idea and get some of those unfinished books to market.

Good luck

Welcome to Persephone K. Vandegrift our latest author

Welcome to Persephone K. Vandegrift and congratulations on her latest book “Persephone’s dream” this is a break in our traditional stance on Non-Fiction books but there is a real lesson to be learned within the story that allows for real world lessons. I will also begin considering other fictional books and they will be placed in a separate section of the site.

We have received requests for these types of books so as long as the demand exists, we will provide the opportunity for authors to publish them

Interesting article on Britannica blog for authors of eBooks

I recently came across an article that would interest most ebook writers. It outlines a few tips on writing for a global market.

An example of this would be referencing city names only if relevant. Most people would identify with a story if you just mentioned it was a large city, this would mean that a reader in the US would think you were referencing New York and a person in France would think Paris, both would feel inclusive to the message.

We shot, We missed. Now we need to aim again

Book categories are the window to the entire TodayBooks.com site. We made a change last month to attempt a more inviting topic list. The idea was good but in application it really didn’t work to well. We are still open to suggestions. Many of our authors have a fair deal of experience in this regard and we would welcome your input.

Live royalty updates get a step closer!

I know some of our more successful authors have been wanting this for a while. We are now sending order confirmations within 24hrs of your book being sold. Our goal is to make this happen in real time but at the moment we will be relaying it onto another server that will allow me to send current information. We will only send information about which book you have sold and the day that it happened.

Due our privacy policy we will not receive information regarding the purchasers name.

This is good news. More great developments to come.
